SSL and SEO

Also known as: HTTPS and You

What does your site’s security have to do with your search engine ranking? A lot… apparently…

Early last month Google posted on their webmaster blog that the search engine would now be using a site’s HTTPS encryption status when calculating said site’s search ranking.

So if your site doesn’t have HTTPS enabled they are indicating that your site will rank lower in the search results.

All of our servers support HTTPS, of course, and we can make sure that traffic from your site is transmitted via the secure protocol. Your customers will have more confidence in your site, and you’ll get some Google love to boot.

Use the contact form after the break to let us know if you would like us to make sure your site is up to speed.
